There you are, you have arrived at your destination, with us, on our site. The road was good, we turn off the ignition, we remove our helmet. Now you probably want to know why you are here, what we do, why we do it, or maybe find out who we are. We will try to keep it short.
Concretely, since 1979, the passion for motorcycles has rarely left us, and if we add our 14 years of experience in textiles, we said to ourselves that there was surely something to do. Offering you a collection of clothing - t-shirts and mugs to start - beautiful and durable, with pretty visuals.
And for all of this to make sense, the cotton in our t-shirt had to be organic. This means that its culture respects workers and the environment. It does not use GMOs, pesticides or heavy metals. It pollutes neither the water nor the earth. And we are not endangering the health of farmers, nor yours. In addition, it requires 25 times less water than conventional cultivation.
We have made the choice with our partner to print our t-shirts only when you place an order with us. With this system, no stock, no sales, and above all no unsold items at the end of the year.
In short, we do not overproduce, we only produce what we sell. Our ecological conscience even pushes us to ban plastic from our packaging, whenever possible. This is all good for the environmental impact.

Production on demand: an eco-logical model.

A new means of supply is increasingly of interest to many brands: manufacturing on customer request. Its aim is to avoid the destruction of unsold items, but also to respond to more reasoned consumption and an eco-responsible approach. It is this economic model that we have chosen at Culture Moto. This corresponds to new market trends aimed at minimizing environmental impact as much as possible.

Zero plastic packaging and environmentally friendly inks.

At Culture Moto, we have made the decision to ship your orders banning plastic, whenever possible. The products are packaged in recyclable cardboard sleeves or, depending on the dimensions of the item, in flexible sleeves made from recycled materials. This is a solution that costs us more , but which was naturally imposed as part of our eco-responsible approach. Likewise, the paper used to print your shipping slips is environmentally friendly: from a short circuit based in France. The latter benefits from the FSC and PEFC labels guaranteeing its origin from sustainably managed forests. We took the logic to the adhesive tape, since it is made of kraft paper and not plastic. Finally, our inks take care of your skin and the environment. Our visuals are printed on textiles using water-based inks, 100% eco-certified by Oeko-Tex's ECO PASSPORT and by the GOTS 5.0 label.

Ethical and eco-responsible textile articles.

The textile industry is known to be polluting and often has little regard for the working conditions of employees. A real awareness has grown in recent years and some manufacturers have decided to take matters into their own hands by switching to sustainably manufactured products. Organic cotton is the perfect example: its cultivation uses much less water and is much more respectful of the environment than conventional cultivation. At Culture Moto, we have decided to offer you ethical and organic textile products, in collaboration with the Stanley/Stella brand. It seemed obvious to us, we share the same values. But saying that we are respectful of the environment is certainly good for our reputation, but we still need to provide you with a concrete guarantee of our commitment. This is why we have detailed for you the ecological labels of our range of textile articles.

GOTS

The acronym Global Organic Textile Standard literally translates as “global standard for organic textiles”. This is a certification issued by the Ecocert Group. The main action of this certification? The promotion of products whose composition displays more than 95% organic fibers. It also guarantees harvest and production that respects the environment and workers, without toxic products.

Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex

Our skin is subject to the micro-aggressions of our daily lives every day: pollution, extreme temperatures, cosmetic products with questionable compositions, etc. The objective of the Standard 100 label by Oeko-Tex? Ensure the absence of harmful components in textiles through strict controls carried out during the production phase.

Vegan by PETA

At Culture Moto, we love animals, all animals! This is why we have chosen to offer you a certain number of products benefiting from the Vegan label issued by PETA. What does this imply? The guarantee of a product not tested on animals, whose composition contains no ingredients of animal origin.

Fair Wear

Not being ecological strictly speaking, this label is not quite on the same line as those mentioned previously; it remains no less important. The Fair Wear Foundation has been working for more than 20 years to improve the working conditions of employees in the textile sector, particularly through requirements regarding working hours, salaries, and more generally respect for a healthy working environment.
